Resorts

Cavalier has built more hotel rooms throughout The Bahamas than any other contractor.

Its resort projects include the impressive Atlantis Convention Centre on Paradise Island for Kerzner International which was finished in 2007 and the recently completed Albany development in western New Providence.

All the resorts listed above are still in existence today and bear testimony to the longevity of Cavalier’s product.

Residential

Cavalier has been the builder of choice for many luxurious residences over the years, notably in the exclusive community of Lyford Cay in western New Providence which showcases over 15 individual Cavalier homes.

The company’s ability to deliver the quality of building work and high end finishes required by even its most demanding clients rests in the seamless provision of quality materials and the experience of its professionals. Cavalier’s dedicated procurement agents in the United States ensure that the best product is secured at the best prices. Condominiums

Cavalier has completed numerous condominium developments in its history, including one in Lyford Cay.

More recently, the company completed work at Bayroc Condominiums, an exclusive gated community on West Bay Street comprising 55 luxurious units on nearly 7 acres of prime beach front property.

Further west, at the intersection of west Bay Street and Blake Road, Cavalier completed the impressive Caves Point condominium complex. Also on prime beach front property, Caves Point comprises 10 buildings with a total of 67 units, a gymnasium and three swimming pools.

Commercial

The streets of Nassau bear testimony to the many commercial projects in which Cavalier has been engaged over the years. In fact, the four corners of Shirley and Charlotte Streets are each flanked by Cavalier commercial buildings still in use today. The business district also contains numerous office buildings built by Cavalier over the years.

The Company joint ventured with Reef Construction in Freeport to complete the new Grand Bahamas  Airport facilities in 2006.

Most recently, Cavalier completed the new Scotiabank facility in the Commercial Village for Bahamar.

Government

 The Government of the Bahamas has favoured Cavalier with important construction projects both in Nassau and Freeport, Grand Bahama.

The new Straw Market in downtown Bay Street was completed in September 2011 to replace the previous structure tragically burned down in 2001. Cavalier’s strong performance on that project was rewarded with the contract to build the new Critical Care Block at the Princess Margaret Hospital scheduled for completion in November 2013.

Industrial

Borco, Freeport One million gallon water storage tanks for the Bahamas Water & Sewerage Corporation

While it is fair to say that Cavalier’s strength and reputation for its work lies mainly with resorts, condominiums and residential projects it has also been engaged on industrial assignments with the 1 million gallon water storage tanks for the Water and Sewerage Corporation being at the forefront of these achievements. The company also built the Gold Star Brewery in 1994,  a Septage and Sludge Treatment Facility in 1996 and various Power Plant additions for the Bahamas Electricity Corporation in Freeport also in 1996.
